2012 Honda Crosstour Gets Upgraded Standard Features

Contrary to some early assertions that the 2012 Honda Crosstour crossover would remain largely unchanged for the 2012 model year, Honda has significantly raised the vehicle's "standards"...or standard features, if you will. Capital Honda isn't saying the 2011 Honda Crosstour is not exceptional. Quite the contrary; we think it's a fine example of where practical wavers on the edge of elite. Rather, it's that the 2012 models gains fourteen-plus enhancements. They are:

-    Auto on/off projector-beam headlamps to preserve the vehicle's battery
-    Fog lights
-    A rearview camera for safer, more accurate parking
-    Bluetooth HandsFreeLink for a connected, yet focused drive
-    USB audio interface
-    17-Inch aluminum wheels with all-season tires
-    Moonroof
-    Body-matching power side mirrors with defrost
-    Chrome door handles
-    Auto-adjustable driver and passenger seats
-    Rear privacy glass
-    Dual-zone automatic air conditioning with second-row ventilation
-    Steering-wheel mounted controls
-    Cargo privacy cover
-    And more!

Among some of the many things that will happily remain unchanged are the implementation of a robust 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine with the latest-and-greatest generation of Honda's VCM, which promises not only brisk acceleration but impressive fuel savings. Duel-zone climate control will prevail in the 2012 model range, as well. So too will the convenient 60/40 split rear seatback. And, you can rest assured, it's just as safe as ever with a comprehensive suite of standard safety features including: Active Compatibility Engineering and Vehicle Stability Assists, among others.
